And so it begins…

Today marks day 1 of my new book. I am 800 words in as I take a break to write this. It will be different though. I must warn you. It won’t be a cozy story, with a moving plot, twists and turns, easy to follow direction and action. It will be more in the vein of The Catcher In The Rye, or Tropic Of Cancer, The Sound And The Fury – more inner monologue, stream-of-consciousness. I’m not saying there won’t be a story, but it won’t be about that. It will be about trying to capture a feeling, trying to immortalize a point in time, a change in life, in thought. Those moments when you learn about yourself, and about others. It will center on a young man embarking on his time at college, trying to figure things out, trying to understand what it means to live, trying to focus on the present. And of course all the stories that become the greatest times of his life. Oh, and it will be written in first person. Let the journey begin on book 4, novel 3! Commence!
