Chapter 1 Complete!

The new book kicked off with a bang! I completed chapter 1 of Salima Falls yesterday only two weeks into the new year. Hopefully I can knock out a new chapter every 2-3 weeks so the book will be done in 2016. I’m not sure how long it will be, or the exact arc of the storyline yet, but I am happy with how it starts. Chapter 1 sets up the story well I think. 5,750 words of the flashback that reveals the tragedy leading to the main character Winston’s downward spiral and motivation. The next words I will write will be “One Year Later…” in chapter 2.
