Oh sea, thou are a friend to me
Though seldom do I visit thee
And though the times we share are few
My heart is always lost in you

Dreaming of a sky so clear
The sunlight almost draws a tear
And on the breeze that passes by
My troubles vanish with a sigh

So when my spirit needs a friend

My ship has left behind the shore
