Shades Of Truth

The darkness seems to trick the mind
And lead the heart astray
And tempt the feelings left behind
To blend with those today

And often when the light is low
In spirit or in thought
On journeys to the past we go
To lands of Love forgot

So when the sun begins to part
Especially in youth
Be careful that you trust your heart
To give the honest truth

For truth is found among the light
